As a native Mobilian, it is Sherrica’s proudest achievement to serve in her passion as Director of Institutional Advancement for Bishop State Community College to assist in providing students with the resources they require to accomplish their goals. “As I gaze out the window in my office and stare at the open field of what once stood the orange grove housing projects, I am reminded of God’s grace and the sacrifices my grandmother and mother made to allow me live out my wildest dreams.” Sherrica has over 10 years of experience in domestic and international marketing and business development in various industries: investment banking, technology, human resources and nonprofit. Sherrica has gained perspicacity in fostering and sustaining business relationships and advancing initiatives across the globe in cities such as Rome, Dubai, Atlanta and New York. While serving in corporate America, she was an advocate for social responsibility by identifying and supporting local community initiatives through volunteerism and financial support. Sherrica is a graduate of Leadership Mobile class of 2018 and Leadership Alabama Initiative Class of 2019. She is also a proud BIG with Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama. She resides in Mobile with her husband Marshall Hunt and their 4 children.
