Food Donations Needed to Make Holidays Happy

Central Presbyterian Church’s food bank, the largest in the county, is in need of food for the holidays.

We need your help to make the holidays happy for hundreds of Mobilians! Central Presbyterian Church in midtown is home to dozens of artist studios along with functioning as a church every week. Additionally, it hosts a food pantry free for community members every week, and it’s the largest food pantry in the county. The church is having a shortage of food to give out to the community, and they need your help to make holidays merry.

Their greatest needs are meats (turkey, hams, chicken, cheese) and breakfast cereal, but anything would be appreciated. They’re looking for at least 150 chickens/equivalent in other meats. Additionally, you can purchase a ticket that will allow them to purchase a chicken.

Donation items can be dropped off on Monday, December 16 from 10am-4pm at Central Presbyterian Church (1260 Dauphin St, Mobile, AL 36604).

For more information, visit Central’s website or their Facebook event
